03 / The name & the place

A personal name.
A Singapore connection.

“Teong” comes from Tony Khoo Kay Teong. “Bahru” means “new” in Malay. Together, they mark a new chapter for the founder.

The staircase-inspired monogram draws on the architecture of Tiong Bahru — a connection to Singapore’s heritage and to the place behind the name.
